Dr. Christine Tenaglia has been given the “People’s Choice Award” as the area’s favorite dentist by the Lansing Community Newspapers, and been featured on Fox News, WLNS TV, WKBD TV in Detroit, and in the Detroit News, The Lansing State Journal, The Michigan Dental Association Magazine, and on WJIM AM Radio.  Dr. Tenaglia chaired the Michigan Association’s Annual Meeting in 2006, when the organization commemorated its 150th anniversary. 

She constantly reeducates herself in the latest dental technology, advanced treatments, and comforts of modern dentistry. She travels across the United States to update her practice with efficient and effective methods of general dental care, oral health and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Tenaglia graduated from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1992.  She has studied at the acclaimed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies; The Pankey Institute, in Miami, Florida, Dawson Center in Tampa, Florida, and Louisiana State University.

She has maintained a private practice in Lansing area since 1993. 
Since establishing her general dentistry practice in Okemos in 1997, she has focused on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.

Mary Lou has been providing care as a dental hygienist for 33 years being awarded “MDHA Hygienist of the Year” twice in her career.  Her memberships include the American Dental Hygiene Association, Michigan Dental Hygiene Association, and the Central & Southwest Dental Hygiene Associations.  She has served as MDHA Treasurer, Board member for Professional Development and Administrative Council.  She has chaired both the Children’s Dental Health Month Program and the 4-H Science Resource Program and has served as the Health Technology Representative on the Kellogg Community College Board of Regents.

Mary Lou continued her education at both University of Michigan and Las Vegas Institute for Dental Studies.  Many of her continuing education classes are clinical in nature; others include Rehabilitation of Cleft Palate Patients, Care of the Medically Ill Patients, Pharmacology/Bacteriological, and OSHA Awareness Training.  Along with her dental hygiene license she is also licensed to administrator local anesthesia.
