Yes, there is a new porcelain veneer product that requires no preparation of the tooth, no shots, and no drilling. It is called a No-Prep Veneer. While there are advantages of using this restorative veneer, there are limitations as to its use. Not all patients are candidates.

Who would be a candidate for this porcelain veneers?

The perfect patient for No-Prep Veneers is one who would benefit from larger teeth to form a more ideal arch. In this case, a contact lense-like veneer is bonded to the patient’s smaller tooth, which gives the patient a new bright beautiful symmetric smile.
