Have you ever wondered about the risks of E-cigarettes?

A poll done by Reuters/Ipsos showed that more Americans are using e-cigarettes than a year ago. As conventional cigarette smoking decreases, the use of e-cigarettes becomes more popular and they are NOT a better substitute.

The liquid nicotine used in e-cigarettes has caused an increase in calls and visits to the poison control center and the emergency room. This concerns the FDA as they consider if it would be appropriate to warn the public about the dangers of nicotine exposure, especially to infants and children and may require some tobacco products to be sold in child-resistant packaging.

The use of e-cigarettes by high school students has increased from 4.5% in 2013 to 13.4% in 2014 whereas cigarette use decreased from 12.7% to 9.2%, which is the largest year-over-year decline in more than a decade.

E-cigarettes pose a high health risk and should not be used for any reason!
