A new study shows that Americans aren’t getting enough sleep and this is a public health epidemic. Work related schedules, stress and airway obstructions are a few factors in why you aren’t getting the 7-9 hours of sleep the CDC recommends. The CDC also reports that 41 million people aren’t getting a full nights rest and 20% of vehicle crashes are due to lack of sleep.

Many people don’t look as good as when you’re sleeping enough. So how much sleep do we need? For kids, it’s 10 to 11 hours a night. Teenagers should aim for 8.5 hours or more and for adults seven to nine hours a night. But if you are still feeling tired after a full nights rest, there are solutions to help you with your problem because you are not the only one.
