Have you been given the option of an implant? A dental implant is a “root” device used to replace missing or extracted teeth. It is made of titanium posts and placed directly into the bone where the tooth used to be. The titanium actually forms a bond with the bone over time. Dental implants are capped with a crown, and in most cases the replacement tooth works just like the original tooth.  In the photo, there are 2 implants Dr. Tenaglia placed just recently.
